This college was established in 20 june 1965. The Department of Commerce started in 1965. .From the beginning of Commerce Department Prof. Babasaheb Minase, Prof. Wamanrao Choudhari and Prof. Vijayrao Kulkarni was appointed as a regular and approved lecturer in Commerce upto year 2003. After theire retirement Prof. Dr. Ramesh P. Deshmane and Prof. Dr. Anil S. Purohit are appointed as a regular and approved lecturer on 29/10/2004. And then Prof. Dr. B. S. Ingle is appointed as a regular and approved lecturer on 13/10/2007.

Dr. Ramesh P. Deshmane was retired on 30/11/2023. After his retirtment Prof. Mehetre is appointed on CHB on 3 July 2023.

However, in 1965, Commerce faculty was started at degree level.

Now-a-days, the admission to commerce faculty is increasing day-by-day due to establishment of B.Com.(Marathi Medium) in 1965.
