About Department

    The college was established on 20th June 1965 by S.P.M. (Shiskhan Prasarak Mandal) which is known as Tatyasaheb Mahajan Arts and Commerce College. It was established to give an opportunity of education to the students of rural area. The college started first year of Arts and Commerce, affiliated to Nagpur University. Economics in Arts faculty is an optional subject and Business Economics in Commerce faculty is compulsory subject.

    ECONOMICS & PLANNING FORUM

      The aim of Economics & Planning forum is to make the students aware about various economical issues as well as to awareness the knowledge about world & Indian economy, hence the Economics & Planning forum is established every year in the college. The forum is also encourages the students to take part in various economic & social activities.
      The general & specific aims & objectives of Economics & Planning Forum are as:

    Create a platform for sharing knowledge & perspectives.
    Foster critical thinking & problem-solving skills.
